We are delighted to be a project partner in the Move4Nature project, which combines physical activity with climate action.
This project will trial the use outdoor sports, particularly hiking, as a tool to teach young people and adults about the importance of the environmental protection and climate action. Through hiking and physical activity in nature, the project will facilitates inclusion and intergenerational exchange.
Hiking trail clean-up events will take place in Slovenia and Romania in Summer 2023.
Transnational Meeting
In October, we hosted the first in-person meeting for the project in Edinburgh.
Across the two days, we discussed examples of good practices from each of our countries regarding green education. We will be publishing a collection of good practices as part of this project – more updates coming soon.
We brainstormed the process of organising your own trail clean-up event, and what kind of resources would help empower communities to organise their own events. We then did our own litter pick around Blackford Hill.

Move4Nature is a collaborative partnership Erasmus+Sport funded project. It is also co-funded by the European Union.
